Q-01 What counts as a “notarization”? +
Every time an AI agent takes an action that Trust Gate evaluates through policy and cryptographically stamps, that produces one notarization (TrustAtom Receipt). Like a human notary’s stamp, each one is admissible under ESIGN and eIDAS. Free tier includes 1,000 notarizations/month; Pilot and above are unlimited. Each receipt contains the policy verdict, the agent identity, the action requested, the canonical hash, and the dual signature.
Q-02 What is quantum-safe notarization? +
Growth tier and above include a preview of quantum-safe post-quantum signatures alongside classical signatures. This creates hybrid notarizations that remain verifiable even after quantum computers break classical cryptography. No re-signing event ever needed. Trust Gate is one of the first notarial layers to ship NIST PQ-ready signatures in production.
Q-03 Can I change tiers later? +
Yes. Upgrade or downgrade any time via the Stripe Customer Portal. Changes take effect on the next billing cycle. No annual lock-in — monthly billing default. Annual contracts available on Enterprise with custom terms.
Q-04 Is there a free tier? +
Yes — start free. The Free tier gives you 1,000 production notarizations per month plus unlimited watermarked demo notarizations to prove value to your team. No credit card required. Most teams sign up, mint their first notarization in under 2 minutes, and upgrade to Pilot ($500/month) once they hit ~800 notarizations/month. If your AI agents are making decisions you cannot afford to fail to notarize, you should already be on Pilot or Growth.
Q-05 How does outcome-based pricing on Enterprise work? +
Enterprise tier ($10,000/month base) adds outcome-based pricing on top of unlimited notarizations: 10-20% of cyber insurance discount captured, $5,000 flat per audit pass (SOC 2 / ISO 27001 / EU AI Act), $250 flat per dispute resolved without litigation, and $500 flat per security questionnaire automated. You pay only when notarization saved you money. Hybrid model: predictable base subscription + value-share upside.
Q-06 Can AI agents purchase autonomously? +
Yes. Pilot ($500/mo) and Growth ($2,500/mo) tiers are fully agent-procurable through the Trust Gate agent API and MCP server — no human in the loop. Procurement agents discover pricing, evaluate the notary, mint a watermarked demo, then complete purchase via Stripe Agent Toolkit. Enterprise ($10,000/mo+) requires human contact for custom compliance scoping. Every purchase is itself notarized.
Q-07 What happens to my data if I cancel? +
30-day grace period. Your notarizations and evidence graph remain available for export during that window. Notarizations you have already downloaded remain independently verifiable forever — cryptographic dual signatures don’t expire and the underlying transparency log is append-only. Per the Landauer principle, nothing in your evidence trail ever disappears.
